Cricket is a regional carrier. Their gimmick is to offer unlimited service
for a low flat rate price similar to that of Metro PCS.
There are no contracts with Cricket and you are required to prepay for
service.
Crickets's cellular network is overburdened and operates at capacity or
near capacity. Expect frequent dropped calls, and areas of no service that
are covered by towers. Indoor reception is minimal.
If you travel frequently you may not be able to use your phone outside
of the regions Cricket covers or will be charged very high roaming fees.
If you use your wireless phone frequently and would like an unlimited plan,
I would recommend Helio which has unlimited minute plans
starting at near $100 and excellent reliable nationwide service.
