Trumpet Mobile is yet another Sprint MVNO. Trumpet Mobile
products are being exclusively sold at Radio Shack locations
and are not available online.
At the moment these phones are only available in a handful
of markets.
Trumpet Mobile like other Sprint MVNOs has nationwide service
using the robust Sprint wireless network. Their pricing
is competitive and ranks as one of the top lowest cost
prepaid services.
Trumpet doesn't seem to have a market focus, they are going
after the general prepaid/MVNO customer base. They might
wind up being a good candidate for taking on older customers
who are turned off by MVNOs like Virgin Mobile
who market to a younger crowd.
Trumpet squares up as a good alternative for adult customers who do not
want to commit to a contract or have to pay a deposit. Trumpet would also
be a good alternative for those people who need a cell phone for emergency
use - or just don't talk on their phones that much.
